Curriculum
Vitae For
William Spragg CEng BTech MIET
(Call me Bill Spragg)
Professional Profile
I
am a mature chartered engineer with a long and successful career in the
pharmaceutical industry. Maintenance management is my major field of
experience. I have led and influenced many Computerised Maintenance Management
System (CMMS) projects with highly complex software such as Maximo. I have also
helped companies review and improve their maintenance operations and develop maintenance
policies and strategies. I was part of the team that helped my employer of the
time achieve an AMIS World Class Maintenance Award.
Career
experience also includes: work study, project management, production planning,
computerised system validation (CSV) and equipment qualification (IQ and OQ).
I
have recently qualified as an accredited Energy Assessor for commercial and
industrial buildings. My long and deep experience of industrial plant
maintenance and asset life cycle records enables me to bring an extra dimension
to the role of the energy assessments.
I
am a strong advocate of the principle that lifetime ownership of an asset and
how to minimize its cost whilst maximising its output and energy efficiency is
an important and professionally challenging opportunity.
