Energy Performance Certificate
We can provide accredited commercial energy assessment of your premises leading to the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) as required for selling or leasing your property. Click for more

Energy Review
You don't have to be selling or leasing your property to benefit from an energy review. We can identify improvements you can make that will reduce your energy costs. Or perhaps you want to be 'greener' and reduce your CO2 footprint.
We can also review your premises documentation to advise how to get it up to scratch for a future EPC assessment. Did you know, for instance, that Building Regulations Part L require you to keep a building logbook and that inability to produce it for an EPC survey can result in you getting a lower rating than you deserve. Maintenance System Audit
We can review your current maintenance processes and systems and advise on their strengths and the opportunities for improvement. We will pragmatically take into account your business needs and aims to avoid unnecessarily theoretical or fashionable solutions.

Maintenance Strategy

We can help you develop an appropriate maintenance strategy. This will faciltate the next stage of developing the maintenance processes and selecting the CMMS tool or manual system.

Pharmaceutical manufacturers are lucky  – sadly sometimes they don’t know it... (more on this)

ProceduresYou may require written procedures, particularly if you operate in a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals or if you need to support a Quality System certification. We offer our expertise in setting up a Procedure system, developing procedures or just writing up your existing but un-recorded processes.

Training
Having the best strategies, processes and systems is all very well but it does not guarantee that your operation will succeed. Your ideas need to be conveyed to your workforce in a way that inspires them as much as you, and at a level and clarity that they can actually implement.

We highly favour training that is strong on education. People are more likely to implement the processes if they understand why they have to perform the tasks and in the way prescribed.

We can develop training material for you. We can deliver training from our material or yours. Whatever you require.

The Maintenance System
Fully Computerised (CMMS)? Spreadsheet? Diary? Tee Cards?
Depends what's right for you. We do not prejudge the solution. We wait until we've viewed your business, its size, aspirations and needs.
If a new CMMS is appropriate we can help you set it up and configure it to best suit your business needs and aims.

Asset Data
We can survey your site and/or your as-built drawings and set up your asset register in your maintenance system. We are experts in the set up of asset structures in CMMSs. Good asset structures facilitate maintenance staff of all levels and disciplines and provide them with the exact information they need in a way that is intuitive to their disparate needs.

Likewise, we can help you with creating your sites, locations, assets, inventory, tools, job plans, and pm records. We can do this either from your own existing paper or electronic records, or, we can create the records from scratch by surveying your site.

We are also experienced in data transfer. If you are changing from an old system to a newer one it is often beneficial to retain the information you have already invested time and trouble creating. It is a true adage that knowledge is power - don't throw it away.

Stores and Materials
The best maintenance processes contain strong materials management systems. Lack of control here can cause waste by overpurchasing, late purchasing, lost stock, duplicated stock and unofficial stocks e.g. in vans and in toolboxes. We can advise you on setting up or improving your materials processes and stores operations. In particular we have expertise in the linking of parts to your jobs and hence reducing stock, without risking the work, through mrp (materials requirements planning) processes.

ISPE Maintenance Good Practice Guide
This is the guide for maintenance standards in the pharmaceutical industry. It was published in summer 2009.  You may be wondering how this guide affects your organization or site. We can help you with activities such as: Benchmarking your operation against the new guide, Identifying gaps and opportunities or, Implementing changes to meet the recommendations of the guide.
