Having a good system of records for your building and its services is important.
Did you know that an energy assessor will require to see these records and that if you cannot provide the detail needed a
default assumption may be used in the analysis. Examples include window certificates and date of installation of boilers.
The default assumptions may give you less than full credit for the energy performance of your building and a lower rating
than it deserves. This could, in turn, mean losing out on a sale or letting to another, better scored, property.
